Snickers Cupcakes
Mmmmmmm, Snickers chocolate!!! Who doesn’t like this rich sweet and salty taste of chocolate, peanuts and caramel! Yummy! If I had to choose one of my favorite food taste ever , this one would be in my top ten! But, believe me or not I’ve never tried to make some Snickers cupcakes!
So I’ve finally decided to play with my two favorite foods – cupcakes and Snickers! I’ve already featured some great cupcakes with this tasty ingredient. Yesterday , I had a lot of time so I’ve decided to do my best for this delicious treat. Almost every recipe for the Snickers cupcakes required Snickers candy bars to stuff the chocolate cupcakes, but this one doesn’t. These cupcakes have two different homemade filling as a delicious surprise inside, and really does taste like the real Snickers. Snickers candy bars is used only for garnish on top and to symbolizes the flavor of these cupcakes.

Snickers cupcakes
Double Filling Snickers Chocolate Cupcakes
Rich, moist chocolate cupcakes with two different filling, covered with chocolate ganache and topped with caramel frosting.
You’ll need:
- Chocolate cupcakes
- Caramel sauce
- Caramel cream filling
- Peanuts filling
- Chocolate ganache
- Caramel frosting
- Snickers bars for garnish (optional)
For the Chocolate Cupcakes:
Dry ingredients:
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
Wet ingredients:
- 1/2 cups vegetable oil
- 1 cup buttermilk ( if you don’t have buttermilk you can use milk instead , just add 1 teaspoon of white vinegar into 1 cup of milk and set aside for 5 minutes before using)
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup boiling water
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, and line your cupcake pans with your liners.
- In a large bowl mixed together dry ingredients (flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder)
- Add wet ingredients (oil, buttermilk, eggs, vanilla extract) and mix on medium speed about 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in boiling water and mixed well.
- Fill cupcake liners about 2/3 full.
- Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center of a cupcake comes out clean (it takes about 20 minutes)
- Let the cupcakes to cool completely

Snickers cupcakes
For the Homemade Caramel Sauce:
- 1 ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 ½ cup whipping cream
Directions:
- In large sauce pan melt sugar until it reach nice amber color
- Move from the heat, add half of a whipping cream( just be careful it will bubble a lot)
and mix well, then add the salt and the other half of cream mixed well
- Cool it
For the Caramel Cream Filling:
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 2/3 cup caramel sauce
- ½ cup whipping cream
Directions:
- Add melted butter into caramel sauce, mix well and let it cool
- Add whipping cream and mix until it’s smooth
Notes: You will need about 1/3 of this Caramel Cream for filling and the rest you will use to make the frosting
For the Peanuts Filling:
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup toasted salted peanuts, chopped
Chopped the peanuts and mixed in the caramel sauce

Snickers cupcakes
For the Chocolate ganache:
- ½ cup chocolate chips
- ½ cup whipping cream
Melt the chocolate, add the whipping cream and mix well
For the frosting:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- ½ cup whipping cream
- Caramel cream filling
Directions:
- In the remaining Caramel Cream filling add whipping cream and powdered sugar and mix well until it’s smooth and fluffy
To assemble the cupcakes:
- With the knife cut the cone of each cupcakes, than hollow out a bit to get enough space for the fillings
- Add 1 teaspoon of Caramel Cream filling at the bottom of the hollow of each cupcakes, than add 1 teaspoon of Peanuts filling
- Put the cupcake lid back down gently
- Spoon the chocolate ganache over the each cupcakes
- Let the ganache cool completely
- Pipe or spoon the frosting
- Garnish with chopped Snickers bars and drizzle with caramel sauce
